The work force of the Horizon Indian De-mining Team is seen here clearing the Madhu area on the Mannar – Medawachchi Road. After the conclusion of the 30 year long war, the de-mining process has been carried out in many areas in the Northern Province. This de-mining team comprises 60 Indians and Sri Lankans including four women. Pix by Pradeep Pathira
