The areas mentioned above generally don't receive much rainfall throughout the year. A long term plan has to be developed to bring relief .
In the meantime, the media should continue to highlight this so that the Govt's attention is drawn..

Drought, inflation, Dengue, unemployment, breakdown of law and order etc..... who cares? We are concerned about building viharas, changing the road names, blasting tamil nadu polticians, making controversial and racial remarks in public thus keeping the LTTE issues alive

Our government is wasting hundreds of billions on building international ports, international airports, expressways, cricket stadiums, luxurious five star hotels, sky scrapers etc but it can't even provide clean water to its people. The wonder of Asia.
