The New Year falls in the English month of April is common for Buddhists, Hindus, & Sikhs .Besides South Asia, it is also celebrated in the Buddhist Nations of Southeast Asia- Thailand, Vietnam , Cambodia & etc. In Punjab among the Sikhs it is known as Baisakhi- Cultivation ceremony of Wheat.Religion and ethnicity never divide the people ..only the politicians divide the people for their own gain..
