Heritage park at Thoppigala
Pictures show Sri Lanka Army personnel building a heritage park and a war memorial for the three forces and the police in the Thoppigala area after its capture from the LTTE. They are hoping to complete the construction with in two months. A souvenir shop and a museum are also to be constructed. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
