Heroin tractors tracked down
The Police Narcotics Bureau today took 26 tractors into custody from a warehouse in Sinharamulla, Kelaniya, on suspicion of them being used to transport heroin by drug smuggling suspect Wele Suda. The Police said that stocks of heroin were placed in empty gear boxes of the vehicles in order to smuggle the drug into the country. Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana
