Former Sri Lankan leader Mahinda Rajapakse signs nomination papers as party general secretary Susil Premajayantha looks on at his home in a suburb of Colombo today. Rajapakse secured nominations from his United People's Freedom Alliance to contest the forthcoming August parliamentary elections, clearing the way for a comeback months after being defeated at presidential polls in January 2015. MR looks fragile, in my view he is shameless, he could have respectfully resigned from politics and enjoyed his retirement. On the other side greedy people never get settled.
