A ceremony to launch the book ‘Adishtanaya’ authored by Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Japan and former Navy Chief Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda, detailing the Navy’s role in defeating the LTTE, was held at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre recently. President Mahinda Rajapaksa was the Chief Guest at the event, with President’s Secretary Lalith Weeratunga, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Commanders of the three forces and many others present at the event.
