The 92nd death anniversary of the late Fredrick Richard Senanayake, a national hero who had been in the vanguard of the freedom struggle, was commemorated yesterday in front of the F.R. Senanayake statue at the Vihara Maha Devi Park in Colombo. Dr. Ranil Senanayake, the grandson of F.R. Senanayake and grand nephew of late first Premier D. S. Senanayake garlanded the statue.
