Abbas visits Independence Square

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas who is on a two day state visit to Sri Lanka, visited the Independence Square this morning. His visit is intended to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and to promote investment opportunities. Several memorandum of understanding to meet these objects will also be signed.  Pix by Pradeep Dilruckshana
