Parliamentarians beat Veddah cricket team

The Parliamentarians' cricket team 'scored an easy 29-run victory over a team comprising members of the Indigenous (Veddah) community at a softball cricket match at the Badulla Cricket Stadium. The parliamentarians' team scored 119 runs and the opposing team were able to score only 90 runs in reply. Minister Wimal Weerawansa captained the Parliamentarians while the Veddah Community team was skippered by Uruwarige Mutubanda . Pix by Lunugala Prassad Padamasiri

Please do not insult indigenous people by equating them to parliamentarians. These innocent Wedda people never gave false promises, never engaged in shady deals , never messed up the future of children by giving wrong exam results. In morals and in ethics these people are far superior to crooks from parliament.

Take off their shirts and trousers and put them in amudes and they will ALL look like veddahs. Namal even has the long veddah hair to qualify for it apart from the limited education they all have as ministers and politicians.
