In this indident the minister is 100% correct.He is trying to reduce the wastage of the foods & providing the good quality foods to consumers.Everybody should support for a good move and protest to the bad moves only.There is no any acceptable reason to protest against this move.

Plastic crates are more hygienic and easily stackable than jute or pastic sacks. This violent demonstrations island wide are organized by people who have nothing to do with the transport of vegetables and fruits in plastic crates. The world over they use plastic crates why not in Sri Lanka?
