An organisation against the use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs staged a protest opposite the Ceylon Tobacco Company head office urging the company to take measures to introduce the pictorial warnings on packets of cigarettes. The matter has been taken up for hearing at the Supreme Court. Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana

If CTC stops manufacturing the government will be bankrupt as its main portion of income comes from cigarettes and Alcahol only

Anton, this is not child abuse. I quit smoking because my son is so dead against it even without anyones influence. this is an 8 year old. Even if they are doing this with pressure of someone from behind its still worth it and they too learn something. dont they?
