The crux of the matter is that two disgruntled ex-UNP members organised a protest march demanding the ouster of the current UNP leader and they were obviously obstructed in their march by current active members of the party. But, the issue has been magnified thousand times with the blessings of government members by a television channel which has an axe to grind with Ranil which is being cheered on by the hooligans of the government.

I am sorry, but why don't some one tell him to be more tidy in his appearance. Let's face it,in this day and age one has to be presentable to be a leader. May be that is one reason he is so unpopular. Give him some hair dye and a comb, a decent belt and nicely tailored shirts and pants.
