I don't think its a waste of money and time. The Rotary Club is the organization which, to a large extent, helped in the eradicated Polio from our country. But as to what they are doing now is of course another matter.

Rotary also does a lot of youth leadership training and offering opportunities through rotarians ..
The Rotary club is not media hungry and they don't publicise and politices their achievements ..

I wish all Politicians are like Rotarians - Rotarians are hardworking, charity minded leaders of our community. Sri Lankans should be proud of such a strong Rotary network.
