Seems the back tyres of the bus are worn out... Slippery road and worn-out tyres perfect blend for an Accident...

Weekend traveled to Dickwella by bus. 95% of the trip the bus was on the wrong side of the road. Reached just in 4 hours and 45 mins. Galle town just in 1 hour and 10 mins. Only on A2 road. Start of journey 5:30 am.

More Importantly, did the passengers allow safe passage for the bus driver and the conductor after the incident? These private bus drivers drive like insane donkeys. Once in a while, they need to be taught a lesson or two in kind (or in sinhala, අතින් පයින්). The cops are useless, since the bus mafia has the support of politicians.

Why are you insulting private bus drivers who are only doing their job? The real reason for these accidents are Indian made cars, vans, trucks, and buses which are defective and dangerous for Sri Lankan roads. We should buy Chinese cars. They are much safer and we should show them our appreciation.
