why change such a lovely name for this road?? The old road names have some class attached to it & everyone's so familiar with those names, like Horton place, Havelock rd, Reid avenue etc.. these politicians come in & rename it with some unknown guy's name & ruin the beauty of it

This is ridiculous to change the names (are icons) as the way you want.

A name is cosmetic. The name of roads in England are still what is found on the Monopoly Board. In Sri Lanka our whole mission is to change names. Not the quality of life. A Banana Republic all the way.
