Bangladesh, Malaysia, India and most of the asian countries have good private universities, but not Sri Lanka.

These people are just insecure and selfish. They don't want the country to develop fearing it would limit their opportunities, just like the GMOA protests against a private medical school.

Dinesh please do not blame the GOSL, it's the JVP roused propoganda that does not want private universities in Sri Lanka. However we are confident that the GOSL would go ahead with its plans. Let the dump JVP be stuck in the mud for ever...

These union fellows cant understand or speak one word
properly in English. Students those who can afford to come out
of private universites should be given the liberty to study in
Sri Lanka than going to foreign countries for education

what the hell these university students are doing .... by wasting their time to study and wasting money of taxpayers which are donating to them by govenment to protests and hunger strikes ... private universities should be here for the people who enthusiatic to do their studies even make a payments ...these stupid people thinks every thing should be given only to them by government even the jobs. then what about the other half who is willing to study but dont get any oppotunity to enter for state university . are the should deprived from their studies. mad and donkey people........
