Lot of misinterpretations. Firstly, according to the passport she was 21 yrs old thereby the employer was misled with this false info. Saudi does not employ minors according to their regulations. Naturally the passport is considered as an official document issued by any government. The infant was four months old and was the only child to the family. The employee has to agree with the law prior to employment. This is purely the fault of the parents!!!

I don't think this is the right decision, we cannot make hasty decisions here, there are lots of people benefited too by overseas employment and there could be mere percentage of incidents. The authorities should take account of the above situations and work for a win win situation

I am against this petition! Because, I do not think it is a solution to the problem. Let's look at the Rizana’s case, she would not have gone to Saudi, if she could get a job in SL to make decent earning? Why she did not get a decent job in SL? Why did she go to Saudi? Was enough protection given to her by SL government? Was adequate information given to her about her job? Was sufficient information/training given to her about Saudi’s culture and laws and how to seek help? These types of questions, we should ask ourselves and try and find answers and improve. What has happened is past, we must learn from it and educate ourselves improve and protect us.
