There is a difference between other public servants and academics. You cant compare service of public bank accountant and uni researcher. Researchers and academics should be paid more in a country like SL.

Academics must be paid atleast 200K. They have wasted nearly 10yrs to get their doctorate and its unfair for them to be paid 31K. Government must also take their servvice to develop the country.
