Sri Lanka's Education Ministry today introduced the new Subject Stream of Technology to the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level.
The introduction ceremony was held at the Temple Trees with the participation of the Devi Balika students.
The first student registration was done by President Mahinda Rajapaksa over the satellite technology.
The Mahindodaya scholarship programme was also launched at the ceremony. The President donated his one month salary to the Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena for the programme. Pix by President's Media

This is a Big Step and let the Traditional Arts Graduates be more skillful and usable for the development of the country with this new knowledge. BTech instead of BA. More income and useful too.
