I wonder why metrology department still doesn't has adequate equipments to monitor these kind of situations.we always see onething that they have a exquise by saying tht unexpected rain, unexpected wind pattern so on after happening it.What will happen if they will not be able to identify big disasters.

I lived in a developed Asian country which depends a lot on public transport. Even in very bad weather conditions (typhoons) people report to work and life goes on. It is in Sri Lanka that people do not report to work when there is rain.
