Buddhism is a philosophy and not a religion. There is no need to make promises, just do not do wrong. Promises are need for people who have no self respect.

So peaceful to watch. Generally speaking the Sinhalese are more methodical in observing and following law. After facing numerous issues and challenges and observing the greed and laziness of the post war people of Jaffna, I have come to realize this. Government has to offer protection from unruly elements in Jaffna and until this happen the division will always remain as the educated will fear to return to jaffna.

Hari M - The ducted Tamils should return yo the N and E. However their properties are occupied by local squatters. These squatters are threatening the owners return. These squats have their own dwellings elsewhere. Until the government pass a law that squats should leave unlawful occupation and allow the legal owners to take over N and E will not improve.
