Where else to show them in Colombo? It looks old, and kept clean. Who cares if there is real independence in the country or or not? We have to also be aligned with the Hon President and Govt thinking.

A number of questions arises in one’s mind in regard to this caption: i. Sri Lanka lost its independence and to think independently years ago when they hitched their wagons to the Bandaranayke’s and Rajapaksa’s- the rest is history. ii. It is false thinking in the minds of Sri Lankans that Sudhas are the only form of tourists who bring money into this country. They do not understand that, a lot of these tourists who arrive here can be classified as “White Trash” on a shoe string budget. While, a lot of the expatriate Sri Lankans have more buying power and do spend a lot. However, they are not even sadly looked upon OR adequately cared as tourists in Sri Lanka.
