The year-end shopping festival was launched today at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). The exhibition will continue until December 31. It includes textiles, footwear, cosmetics, home and kitchen appliances and an array of other items at special discounts. Pix by Kithsiri de Mel

When you look at the display at BMICH ,one wonders SriLanka also as a mini Bankok or Ho-Chi -Ming city market. Who says we have no foreign exchange to import drugs and fuel .
