It must be a really aloof or a RW hack cartoon artist sketching these. How else without taxes is supposed to pay for all the services the people receive. Do you think that it is from their ancestral inheritance? On one hand you criticize Marxism and Democracy with the other. You must be on drugs, perhaps? Where were you when RW started this? and the previous MR regimes??

Just to give the correct picture, withholding tax is said to be applicable if one has close to 23,000,000 in a fixed deposit. Yes, twenty three million LKR.
And that also could be contested....
Cartoon mis represent it as a plight for a common man...
