Yes he said so. So now that US knows that it is not that important to SL and that it is good for them as well to keep some influence on SL they are giving it. That is strategy - show the seller that you do not want it and they will come after you. If you go on saying that you will die without it you will have to pay a higher price. MR is clever than you i think.
