Sri Lank is one of the least cost of living countries of the world. Especially food prices, one of the cheapest in the world. Prices in Singapore: One cone of ice cream: S$5/- (Rs. 450/-), One lunch plate in a public food court S$7/- (Rs. 630/-) [rice, 1 meat, 2 vegi, 1 egg), 1kg of beef S$ 18/- (Rs. 1620/-), 1kg Batam fish (eq. Katta) S$14/- (Rs. 1260/-), 1kg chicken S$ 10/- (Rs. 900/-), 1kg pork S$ 10/- (Rs. 900/-), one 3 bed room government HDB apt (100sqm, without luxurious facilities eg. gym ,swimming pool ) in remote Boon Lay (Jurong) S$420,000/- (Rs. 37.8 million), etc. etc. DM pls publish this for our frogs in the wells to wake up.

COL is not calculated based on COST. Income too factored into it. Your comparison would be much more informative, if you could add the income of an average and wealthy families in SL.
