This cartoonists try to portray a wrong picture that crime has become as giant to be controlled by tiny forces to combat with it. This is very wrong and once you see the stories of the reasons for some murders taken place it was due to the own folly's by both parties involved. Govt is not responsible.

We don't seem to be able to check crime: so why not legalize it and then tax it?

This is only for politically protected crimes.... The situation for non-political crimes is right the opposite!!! (All culprits nabbed in record time, sometimes ends with them go to 'seek hidden weapons' as well)
