Colombo, Dec. 8 (Daily Mirror) - A fine knock of 70 on 89 balls inclusive of nine boundaries and two sixes by Anushka Perera helped Moratuwa SC record a 21 runs win on the D/L/ method against Saracens SC in the final of the SLC Premier Tier ‘B’ limited over cricket tournament played at the SSC Grounds today.

Anushka’s knock enabled Moratuwa SC taking first lease of the wicket to make a modest score of 231 and Saracens SC in their run chase were on 167 for seven having faced 38 overs when rain put a stoppage to proceedings.

With no play being possible the match was called off which ensured a win for Moratuwa SC with the target at stoppage being 189 runs to become champions.
