Kanchana shines in Ananda’s win

Mar. 18 (Daily Mirror) - Kanchana de Livera shone with a match-winning knock in Ananda’s five-wicket win over traditional rivals Nalanda in the 47th Battle of the Maroons limited-over encounter played at the SSC ground yesterday.
Nalanda, taking first lease of the wicket, made a modest score of 228 for 5, and Ananda, in their run chase, helped by Kanchana’s knock of 55, reached the target in the 44th over.
