Colombo, Dec. 10 (Daily Mirror) - Rain hampered the third day's proceedings of the Major Club four-day final encounter between SSC and Police SC at the NCC ground.

The match got off to a late start due to a wet outfield from overnight rain, but only eight balls of play was possible as the umpires were forced to call off the match due to heavy rain.

No play was also possible on day two, and SSC, resuming from their overnight score of 250/3, added a further four runs before it was called off.

The match will continue tomorrow.
