Cinnamon Grand Colombo further re-establishing its forte as a green corporate entity within the JKH Group of companies, won the coveted JKH Chairman’s Award for Sustainability for the year 2015 at Chairman’s Awards for Outstanding Achievement held recently.

The hotel was commended and recognised for its ongoing initiatives and consistent overall sustainability performance over the previous year. 
It has also recently implemented and installed the Rs.170 million Building Management System (BMS), which is expected to save 12,000 tonnes of greenhouses gases in three years, saving 9 million kWh along with the various initiatives conducted throughout the year to create a greener mind-set.
Cinnamon Grand is a second time recipient of this award.
