When Sri Lanka took a US 200 million loan from Bangladesh considered one of the poorest countries in the world about 3 years ago and failed to return the money on time the rare distiction has now fallen on Sri Lanka currently as the poorest country in the world . Ranil has vowed to make Sri Lanka a super power according to the youtube. I couldn't stop laughing.

SORRY TO SAY, RANIL MAY HAVE BEEN IN A TRANCE HALUCINATING WHEN HE SPAT THAT OUT AS HE WILL NOT BE AROUND TO ACHIEVE HIS GOAL HE WILL BE IN RETIREMENT AND THE NEW PRESIDENT WILL FOLLOW THROUGH WITH BRINGING THE COUNTRY ON ITS FEET AGAIN WITH TIME. NO WAY SRI LANKA WILL EVER BECOME ANYWHERE CLOSE TO A SUPERPOWER.
