Shut up and sit down! I brought you into politics," President Ranil Wickremeisinghe said as opposition MPs raised their voices in protest when the President addressed Parliament today.
"Your first duty of a President is to protect the nation and then to protect the Constitution," President Wickremesinghe said, adding that he will continue to give priority to the economy of the country.
