“We are saddened by Raisi’s death”, PM notes Iran’s contribution to Sri Lanka
Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena says Sri Lanka is saddened by the death of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash.
He noted the contributions made by Iran to Sri Lanka including the assistance provided on the Uma Oya project which was declared open by Raisi during a visit to Sri Lanka last month.
