The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) conducted the first national study on the treatment and conditions of prisoners from February 2018 to January 2020.
Daily Mirror spoke to former member of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission (HRCSL) Ambika Satkunanathan on the findings of the study.

All prisoners who got affected of COVID whould be given compensation as the authorities should be responsible the the prisoners to get affected of it. What cautions did the authorities do for them to get affected of? Were they atleast given daily hotwater steaming to prevent from them getting affected of.

Yes their rights identified not move out of the JAIL till their term is over.
