The people at large would like the new President to keep the peace, adopt a much closer relationship with Russo/Sino nations, and take a very firm stand and NOT cow down to foreign interventions of any kind (especially from India/US) and take Sri Lanka forward with full and complete cooperation of the Sri Lankans in and out of Sri Lanka. NO signing of SOFA agreement with US and 'NO' todestabilising Indian meddling in Sri Lanka.

Watching the social media and television news about the recent chages in the Sri Lankan Government although I do not live in Sri Lanka I sugest give Anura a chance to get rid of the corruption and put behind the bars those who had been robbing the country and bring back the country to how it was under late Sir John Kotallawala.

Abolish private ownership. Nationalize all means of production. Use the profits to pay back debt and build infrastructure in Sri lanka. My two cents

For eg. If CWE or CTB is at loss, how do you expect to pay the workers? There are approx 2m govt servants of the 22m Sri Lankans do you think the ratio tallies?
How come Private Busses are making profits where as CTB is always at loss?
