The Bank of Ceylon commenced its New Year operations with a ceremony on January 2nd, the first working day. Religious ceremonies were also carried out on this day. The ceremony took place under the patronage of the Bank’s chairman, Ronald C. Perera, Board of Directors and the General Manager 
D.M. Gunasekera.
