Digital Finance Forum held at Hilton Colombo

The Digital Finance Forum, organised by the Asian FinTech Academy (AFTA), was recently held at Hilton Colombo.
Monetary Authority of Singapore Chief FinTech Officer Sopnendu Mohanty stated in his message, “I am pleased to see the effort made by the AFTA to create awareness on the blockchain-enabled digital financial world.

Congratulations on the Digital Finance Forum and the impact it will make on technology education in Sri Lanka.” At the forum, Executive Certificate in Blockchain, Digital Assets and Digital Finance was launched by the AFTA, based on the fintech course of the University of Hong Kong.


The AFTA is affiliated with Colorado, USA-based International Board of Standards (IBS), a certifying body, which operates in over 40 nations worldwide. The IBS owns the certifications and trademarks conferred by the Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM). The IBS is a charter member signatory to Washington, D.C.-based Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and has agreement with Kansas, USA-based Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programmes (ACBSP) 
since 2004.
