The sixth millionaire of the “People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai, Ewannai Dinannai” draw was selected for the month of July along with daily and weekly winners for the period of 12th July to 15th August. This event was held at the People’s Bank, Overseas Customer Services premises recently.

The ceremony awaits to give away Rs.1 million cash prize for the monthly winner 22-Karat gold sovereigns for 5 weekly winners and prizes of Rs.10, 000 each for 35 daily winners.

People’s Bank launched “People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyayi” draw from 1st February 2022 to motivate Sri Lankan migrant workers who work tirelessly to strengthen the country’s economy. Under this promotion the Grand Draw winner who will be selected at the yearend will be presented with a Grand Prize of Rs.10 million.

Additionally, Rs.1 million monthly winner is selected every month, while 22K gold sovereign weekly winners and Rs.10,000 daily cash prize winners will be selected 48 times, and 334 times respectively until 31st December 2022.
