The 10-year-old boy who went missing from Haldummulla, Bathgoda was found in Pettah, Colombo yesterday(28), police said.  

The child had boarded a bus from Haputale to Pettah and was found by the Pettah Police yesterday.   

The father had lodged a complaint with the police regarding the disappearance of the child.  

A 10-year-old boy from Haldummulla, Bathgoda, who is scheduled to sit for the scholarship examination this year, has left home.  

The mother had told the police that the child had often left the house saying that he went to the road as he was eager to see the buses.  

He had not returned until the night before and they had lodged a complaint with the Haputale Police.  
The father of the child is to be called to the Pettah police and the child is to be handed over, police said. 
Haputale Police are conducting further investigations.
