111 more die of COVID-19: Death toll surges to 5,222

A total of 111 more COVID-19 related deaths which occurred on Sunday(08) were confirmed by the Director-General of Health Services today pushing the death toll to 5,222.

According to the Government Information Department,55 females and 56 males are among the deceased.
