A 15-year-old boy was killed when a bomb exploded at Thoppur in Mutur last evening, police said.
They said the bomb exploded when the boy was walking in a deserted field in search of fodder for his goats.
The boy died on admission to the Thoppur Hospital.

The Mutur police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
