A total of 2,526 individuals including healthcare officials have been vaccinated as at 5.45 pm yesterday evening, Deputy Director-General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath told Daily Mirror.  

“We are monitoring a system where electronically certain data on details of the people who are getting the vaccine is entered and collected,” he said.

“This total is based on that system. However, the total number will alter as certain information reaches us manually,” he added.
