A group of 28 persons who attended a wedding reception at a house in Madurankuliya area were quarantined for violating the curfew and the quarantine regulations.

A team of PHI’s from Mundalama MOH office rushed to the scene and quarantined the participants and suspended the wedding reception. 

However, several others had fled from the scene.

The new couple and the invitees from nine families were quarantined in that house.
