A group of SLPP MPs are to form a new alliance to contest future elections, Minister Ramesh Pathirana said yesterday.   

Dr. Pathirana told media that they together with few other parties will sign up an MoU today.   

“We will be contesting future elections under this alliance and represent people with moderate views,” he added.
