Aura Lanka Chairman Viranjith Thambugala has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday.  

Police said Thambugala was arrested over allegations of several financial frauds of Rs. 7 million.  He was remanded until May 27 by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
