Colombo High Court Trial - at - bar yesterday fixed the trial against former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, Arjun Aloysius and five others for April 27.  The accused were indicted by the Attorney General over their alleged links to the scam committed while auctioning of Rs 15 billion worth of Treasury bills in an auction on 31 March 2016.  

The accused are presently on cash bail of Rs one million with Rs 10 million surety bail with two sureties on each accused.   DSG Priyatha Nawana appeared for the Attorney General. A team of lawyers including Gamini Marapona PC,Naveen Marapona PC instructed by Sanath Wijewardena appeared for some of the accused.
