A 12-year-old schoolgirl of the President’s Girls’ College in Nawala has died of the Covid-19 infection.   

 The deceased has been identified as Abhimani Navodya, a resident  of Rajagiriya.   She was a Grade 7 student of the school and was admitted to the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital a few days ago.  She died while receiving treatment in the ICU.
