Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) Chairman Janaka Rathnayaka said the cause for the countrywide blackout on December 3 will be revealed soon. 

Addressing the media following the public inquiry on the blackout, he said a successful public investigation was conducted and the details of all those who were responsible were presented yesterday. Yesterday was the second day of the inquiry. All evidences were gathered successfully, he said.

The inquiry of the incident was broadcast live through the PUCSL official website to make the inquiry more transparent, the chairman said.
